Program Ads - Take one out!
Vendors who advertise sell more product! Take out an ad in the YarnCon program. Info and rates available here. |
Goodie Bags!
Another great way to drive shoppers to your booth -- give them a taste of your goodies. Goodie bag info here! |
Load-In - Choose a time! You'll need to enter the parking lot from Washington Blvd. Load-in and booth setup time will be held on Friday, April 4, from 10am-3pm. (Additional time is on Saturday, April 5 from 8-10am, but it's tight because the show opens to the public at 10am.) Because access to the loading dock is down a narrow alleyway, we offer staggered load-in times to avoid long waits. Sign up NOW for your preferred time HERE! Volunteers will be on hand to assist you! The building has a few carts and two slow elevators. If you're able to bring a cart, please do. Any table(s) and chair(s) you ordered will be waiting in your booth. (Still need to rent a table and/or chairs? Email Sara at sara@yarncon.com ASAP!) |

ParkingFree parking is available to vendors. Cars must be parked in the surface parking lot, NOT the parking garage. If you park in the garage, you'll be charged $4/hour. We won't be able to cover or reverse charges incurred by parking in the garage.Trailer parking will be available in a gravel lot on the east side of the building. When parking a large trailer, please be considerate of others and only take up as much space as necessary. To leave your car or trailer in the lot overnight on Saturday, fill out and sign this waiver (required by the venue) and bring it with you (we'll have some on site, too). We’ll collect the waivers during setup, or you can drop it off at the stage. |

LocationThe Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Hall is located between W. Randolph Blvd. and W. Washington Blvd. in Chicago, just west of I-90/I-94 (highlighted on the map below). Enter the lot at 1357 W. Washington Blvd. |

Wifi & Electrical AccessWifi access will be available on-site. Please see a YarnCon volunteer to get login info during setup; the venue requests that we hand it out only in person. If you requested access to electricity for your booth, we have done our best to accommodate you. Electricity is only available for booths along the two main (east and west) walls, in the balcony, and downstairs in the bar area. Please bring power strips and extension cords to plug in (if you requested access to electricity)! Rugs and/or mats to cover cords are also a great idea. NO DUCT TAPE ALLOWED. You will be sharing outlets with your fellow vendors, as they’re fairly limited. No large batteries or generators of any kind are allowed, only extension cords. LED lights on small battery packs are fine. |
